Devon and Christina – Almansor Court, Alhambra

Devon and Christina’s wedding was the very first wedding I have ever been hired to shoot. As an aspiring photographer I was extremely nervous but they had the confidence in me to pull it off. Without a doubt, this was the most stressful photo shoot I have ever done but I think it all came together at the end. I still have much to learn both around my camera and shooting weddings in general.

We were able shoot Devon and Christina this close without them seeing each other before the wedding. It was amazing!

    Our sons’ wedding was April 2nd 2010.
    Paul and Vickie met with our son and daughter-in-law at the venue to discuss where they wanted photos to be taken. Paul was checking lighting and taking a few shots (they met at the same time the wedding would be)
    Vickie took notes and discussed with everyone what was expected to happen on the day of the wedding.
    The wedding day was crazy but Paul and Vickie were calm and confident. Vickie kept Paul on schedule to make sure all photos were taken.
    I am not sure how Paul managed to be everywhere all the time, but he was.
    I had people at the wedding approach me and tell me what an awesome job our photographer was doing. Paul even managed to sneak the newly wed couple away for some beautiful night shots.
    The photos came out amazing and he managed to capture some beautiful moments that still give me tears in my eyes.
